What happens during a shamanic session?

The Shamanic Practitioner will ask you about your specific situation, concerns or problems then journey to helpers in the spirit worlds for information, guidance and direct spiritual assistance. The information obtained will be discussed and after receiving permission from you to proceed, the practitioner will conduct the applicable shaman service.

How long will a session take?

Sessions often take one hour or more as well as email communication and zoom meetings.

How do I make an appointment?

Contact me via this website. My email is included in the contact area or you can email me at thepointnaturals@gmail.com or call me at 705-740-3511. I am based in Marmora, Ontario.

Shamanic services can be offered successfully through distance work. Being present with the client or in your space is irrelevant in the spirit world. I can only do shamanic work for another person if they have granted me permission to do so. We do not interfere with others’ freedom or psychic space without informed consent. I find most people are more comfortable conducting a Healing Session via Zoom from the comfort of their own home.

What does a typical session look like?

Shamanic work requires you to be open to the concept of shamanic healing, whether you understand all the aspects or not. I will attempt to answer any of your questions or concerns prior to booking the actual session. A session that is offered via Zoom will be set up so that myself and my client are in a comfortable, preferably quiet space without chance of interruptions. You may be asked to sit in a chair or lay down on a couch or the floor during a healing session. There will be some drumming, rattling and singing involved as I prepare to meet with spirit guides and while conducting the healing session. The sound level of the drumming or rattling will be adjusted to avoid disturbing others. I will often use earphones if I am in a hospital setting.

You will be guided when necessary to sit, stand, lay down, close your eyes or position yourself so that I can see you clearly in the Zoom meeting format. I will not be recording a session. I prefer that you refrain from talking or eating/drinking during a session. I also ask that you refrain from ingesting alcoholic beverages or recreational drugs 12-24 hours before a session. It is also recommended that you drink plenty of water after a session and make time to be in a relaxed environment for a few hours after a session so that you can adjust to any changes that might occur. Your dreams may be vivid or offer “messages” that will aid you in your next few days.

What can I expect after a session?

After a session we will discuss any questions you may have, I will share what I have learned and experienced. After a healing session you may want to make sure you increase your intake of water and try to remain calm and rested for several hours. Everyone has a different experience. Some may feel an immediate sensation of being lighter, grounded, relaxed and more hopeful. Effects may be dramatic or the may be gradual. You may feel more in control of your life.

You may need to book an additional session as most physical and emotional conditions heal gradually. With Soul Extraction Healing you may be advised to do some specific work on the area where the intrusion used to be. I will guide you with any suggestions after a healing.

What else should I know?

Shamanism is a technique used by shaman practitioners for centuries and uses a model of reality in which the existence of spirits is assumed. These techniques have continued to survive because they have been proven to be useful and effective. Published studies show the effectiveness in immune enhancement, mood disturbances joint mobility issues and assisting in reaching a state of well-being that in turn allows the body, mind and spirit to heal. Shamanic sessions are safe as we do not incur any invasive procedures or dangerous treatments. Healing is effected at the spiritual level.

I observe strict confidentiality and work ethics. I do not promise anything and want to make sure you are comfortable with the entire process of this wonderful service. It may be helpful if you have a family member or friend you can discuss your sessions with for both spiritual and social support. If you prefer to have this person present during your session that is fine. We can discuss this individually before you agree to booking a session.
